Vincent Hudson runs his own independent consultancy providing strategic advice to Australian and international industry and government clients. He is a former Australian diplomat and trade negotiator with 19 years public and private sector experience working on international issues across a range of areas; including agriculture, fisheries, forestry, mining and energy trade and investment, aid and executive education.
Vincent has extensive experience working with government and industry on international policy issues. He has held key international roles in his public sector career, including as Chair of the APEC Energy Trade and Investment Task Force, managing Australia’s international energy security engagement and as an agriculture negotiator in Australia’s key free trade agreements (US, China, Japan, Korea). He was also Australia’s first Counsellor for Agriculture (Policy) in China, based at the Beijing Embassy (2006-2009).
Vincent is a trained practitioner in the GBN scenario-planning technique. He has a talent and passion for exploring strategic vulnerabilities, risks and opportunities for his clients.
