The combination of rising inequality in income and wealth with stagnating living standards for much of the distribution represents a fundamental societal challenge for the rich countries of the OECD.
This event will assess the factors behind contrasting period trends and discuss the extent to which the policy approaches of the past are relevant to the current challenge of low income growth, or whether new policy paradigms are required.
